What is IMOD?

IMOD is an initiative to build a complete online database/directory of Indian Mathematicians/Mathematics Teachers and a common platform for spreading information  on mathematics events in India.

Who can join?

If you are a research student (MPhil/PhD), or a researcher, or a college/university  teacher, you are free to join IMOD. The only thing required for joining IMOD is a valid email id and the willingness to spread IMOD.

Why should I join?

As a member, your name will be listed in IMOD which will be available to anybody online. So if somebody wants to contact you they can get your contact address through browsing IMOD. Only members can get the email address of the IMOD members. Others will get only the official postal address.

IMOD members can post and receive information about events of mathematical importance. You can make various email subscriptions through IMOD.

Once you choose your area of research interest, IMOD will provide you the option to receive conference/seminar information in this area. You can either visit IMOD and read these or register to receive automatic emails.

IMOD provides an advanced search using which you can find mathematicians from different research areas, different type of institutes, different places, etc.

All these features are available only if you are a member of IMOD.
